Between May 31 and June 2, 2019, the international conference AFASES 2019 took place, during which the workshop “Operational requirements for aerial drones used in Integrated Air Space” was held. Our team member, Mădălina Berceanu, presented the article entitled “Communication Optimization for multiple UAVs / USVs”, authors: Octavian Fratu, Mădălina Berceanu, Iulia Alexandra Gudovan. Maria Andronache.
The presentation was well received, the specialized audience showed their appreciation and generated multiple discussions on all levels: from the main ideea of the article to the stages of practical implementation, where we received important advice. These came both from the experience of the pilot students in the conference room, as well as from the representatives of some public institutions consisting mainly of legislative aspects of drone piloting.
The conference was a great opportunity to disseminate the activity of the SIIMA group and to establish contacts with people whose area of activity is similar to that of our research group.
